Does MFP calorie goal change with weight loss?

I know it says that I have lost 4lbs on my ticker, but that was from over a year ago. My weigh in is tomorrow, and I was wondering if my calories adjust as I lose weight or do I have to go into settings and reset my goals? I am sure this has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything close to it. Thanks!

I believe it has to change more than a certain amount to automatically change? I'm not sure, but I go through the goals process every 5 lbs lost and it always changes after that.0

If you have MFP determine your calories, the goal changes every 5 or 10 lb. If you manually set your calorie goal, though, you have to change it yourself.0

Have you not been on in a year and your weight has changed? Then yes, you can go in and change it.0
