Do you all log the calories burned from the steps on your pedometer?

I don't. I feel like I only make improvements when I set aside time to work out.

Sedentary includes normal activity ... 120% of your BMR ... counting everything results in double counting.

If I had a normal pedometer, no. I'd probably end up accidentally logging calories that MFP has already accounted for.

I however have used a Fitbit and now use a Garmin VivoFit. These types of pedometer's sync with MFP and will give you an adjustment if your daily activity level exceeds what you told MFP it would be. For example:

MFP thinks before exercise my total daily calorie burn will be - 1830
    Log exercise - 499
MFP thinks total burn for the day is - 2329
VivoFit Calorie Burn for the day (BMR + daily Activity/steps + exercise) - 2592
    2592-2329=263
MFP adds 263 calories to my exercise log as a Garmin Connect Calorie Adjustment

If I didn't have a device that worked out was extra with MFP than I definitely wouldn't log it just to be on the safe side.

No, I try to hit 10,000 steps every day as my average. If I decide to take the dogs for a brisk walk or I add walking on the treadmill at the gym to my average day, I log the extra walking.

I use a Fitbit which provides an adjustment to MFP as described by earlier poster. I think the way it does it is reasonable so I don't get too excited about it. Key thing for me is logging food in MFP and with pedometer is just getting out and moving and hitting the 10K or more a day - did 30k today
