i just recently bought a FitBit and I'm not sure how the exercise calories are counted. Do you just go with the calorie adjustment from the FitBit, or do you also log your workout in MFP? Thanks in advance!!

What I have done is let the fitbit input the exercise calories, but when you exercise on your own, as in walking, or running, or whatever, make sure you enter accurate start time and duration. For me, the two programs work together and do not double count the exercise. For example: I chopped firewood for 30 minutes starting at 1:00 pm. Fitbit would of only counted about 60 calories. But MFP gave me 395, which is a lot more accurate in my opinion. Hope that helps.0
