Looking for weight loss help urgently!!

I am 18 about 5'7" and am "obese" I weigh 440lbs and can't really exercise I've been trying to walk at a slow pace for a minimum of 30 min a day but I need help and in courage ment to stick to my meal plan and really get motivated and push my self if anybody wants to help by talking or have any ideas I would veryuch appreciate the help thanks and good luck to you all!

    Motivation is highly overrated. Just put one foot in front of the other, think about your food choices one day at a time. You can do this--and if walking slowly for 30 minutes a day is all you can do now, that's okay! Just by signing up for MFP and logging, you're ahead of where you were before.

    Its true. You have to realize that sometimes you will be motivated and sometimes you wont. You do it anyway. A couple other pieces of advice:
    1. Forgive youself when you mess up. Its ok to have an occasional bad day. Its never an excuse to give up.
    2. Weigh and measure all your food. Buy a scale.
    3. Walking 1/2 hr.a day is a good start. Keep it up! :)
    4. When you have a lot to lose, it can be overwhelming. Give youself small goals to reach and celebrate them. My goals were in ten pounds increments, it helped a lot to only focus on that particular goal.
    5. Losing weight is every bit as much a mental thing as a physical one. You have to be completely resolved and committed to doing this. Let nothing stop you!

    you just need to weigh and log all your food to a calorie defecit

    throw out everything you think you know - every thought of food is good or bad

    Eat a wide range of foods - lots of vegetables - and weigh and log it carefully

    You can do it - one step at a time

    Walk round the block - when you can do that - walk further, then further - you don't need any huge effort

    You just need to commit to yourself

    You can do it don't give up!!! You will have good days and bad days. You will be happy, you Will get mad at yourself. I started out couldn't do but 5 mins at a time 3 yrs ago.I would have to sit down and rest then get back up and keep doing it. It will get better and easier. But yes def small goals to start with .:) send me a friend request if you would like to:)
