I've been doing cardio but I want to start lifting...

So my wife and I joined a gym and we've been doing cardio several days a week. Id like to get back into lifting as well. I havnt lifted since high school and then I just did what was written on the board and unfortunately I've found it difficult to remember what to do and when to do it and what to pair with one another. So my question is, could someone put together a suggested work out for me? I'd like to do 2 upper body and 2 lower body days per week.
