We are branching out on our shopping list. We both had a little spare money to shop ahead of time so we went and got groceries...I don't know yet which days I will cook these (I decide when I wake up what I feel like trying!) but it goes like this:
-Black bean borritos with sweet homemade salsa
-Talapia. I've never cooked fish. Should be fun!
-Talapia and black bean borritos? Hehe...
-Chicken, broccoli and rice. Without the added cheeses.
-Marinated tofu with diced tomatos over red beans and rice.0 -
Chicken. Cheeseburgers.pizzas.ice cream.Turkey.chicken.ice cream.beer.waffles.omelettes.ribeyes.basically whatever I want.French toast.0

It's a pain for me because my kids don't like anything. I seriously want to go on a meal planning strike and just make my own food LOL.
I forgot I got pork chops too. Will have to figure out something to do with them. The chicken tonight was still half frozen so we ended up eating turkey burgers instead.0 -

Wednesday- Chicken Cordon Bleu with garden salad

Saturday- We usually just pick all day

Monday (tonight) was brown sugar garlic pork chops, garlic mashed potatoes and corn on the cob.
Tuesday Italian chicken with potatoes and peppers
Wednesday herbed crusted tilapia, rice, broccoli
Thursday baked honey garlic chicken and salad
Friday tomato basil pasta

I make my menus on Tuesday bc the hubbs gets paid on Wednesday and we go grocery shopping that day so tomorrow is kind of bare- leftovers for breakfast and lunch. Dinner we are trying a skinny greek yogurt pizza.
But this last week we had skinny greek yogurt alfredo penne with loads of veggies in it, Feta and spinach stuffed chicken breast with honey roasted sweet potatoes, Greek gyros, Greek gyro salads, Baked chicken with roasted potatoes and carrots, Baked "enchilada" Chicken (chicken marinaded and baked in a red sauce) with cilantro lime rice and black bean salsa, and chicken salad sandwiches a couple times because the husband always wants me to make chicken salad sandwiches lol.0 -
WOW! Great ideas here!
We had grilled chicken topped with spinach, mushrooms, onions and green peppers tonight...tomorrow making chicken jalapeno burgers.
