Today is my first day using MFP. I am a first time mom to a almost one year old(Jan 31st)

I gained 50 pounds while pregnant and probably lost 10 (I don't own a scale so I'm guessing)

I began struggling with my weight in my early 20's and now I will be 35 in April and I'm STILL stuggling.

I decided to get healthy in 2013 and lost 30 lbs by walking and portion control. Well then I found out I was pregnant and all bets were off- I went right back to my old ways and all the weight came back.

Anyhow my son will be 1 in a few weeks as I mentioned and I don't think it's believable to continue to blame my fat on the baby! I want to enjoy my son and be able to run and play with him. I don't want to be the "mom" sitting on the bench because she doesn't have the energy to keep up with her kid.

I'm hoping to lose 50 pounds through WALK AWAY THE POUNDS and Jillian Michaels 30 day shred and portion control.

    I did the same thing- I almost met my goal and then I got preggers! I have used MFP for about a year and I am about 10 pounds from my ultimate goal! I would be happy to offer mutual support. Feel free to friend me. :smile:

    - I had lost 30 lbs, then life just got in the way, and i am "starting over" :)

    Hi girls

    I'm on my 5th day back here and am really keen to regain fitness and my fit figure back - I love WATP plus Jillian Michaels, although I'm just not fit enough for her yet. I have about 70 lbs to lose and am eating nutritionally dense foods which is simply clean eating. I'm very young at heart and prepared to encourage and support you, so please add me if you are committed and serious, too!
