Diner breakfast ideas

my sister and I usually go out for breakfast at a diner on the weekends. When we do this Then I skip lunch. Diner breakfast food can really add the fat and calories. (Food porn: 2 fried eggs, bacon, and 1.5 pancakes with butter and syrup). What would be some good choices?

omlette made with 1 egg and a couple of egg whites- add veggies, american cheese (it's just so much cheesier than cheddar) if you like and an engish muffin. If you must have a pancake- go for it and forgo the syrup in place of fresh fruit, and just eat one.0

Don't they usually fry the eggs on the griddle in a diner? I don't think there's a huge amount of fat involved in eating those. How many calories are you trying to eat within? I might skip the pancakes and go with toast, and I usually get poached eggs because I like them best.
Saying all that, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, and 2 pieces of toast is about 400 or so calories. (I think, I'm a vegetarian and forget how many calories bacon is.)0 -
Scrambled eggs, dry wheat toast, and tomato slices instead of hash browns. Peanut butter on the side.0

Fruit cup and an english muffin, glass of milk.0

Egg white omelet with veggies and cheese, no hashbrowns, turkey bacon.0

I used to sub for egg whites and I would get fruit/etc. With an 18 month old we don't get to out too often, so when we do I just eat now...it's one of the only times a month I get to eat food that I didn't have to make while it is still hot...AND at the same time as everyone else!0

Thanks. I would probably like the egg white omelet, but I don't think diners have turkey bacon. I don't think ham is too bad but has lots of sodium. Here is what I think the old breakfast was.... 2 eggs 120, 2 bacon 80, if I only ate one pancake 150 butter add 80 add syrup add 210. Yep, the pancakes have to go!0

if you are just a little hungry, order 2 poached eggs, 2 slices of dry toast, and add some jelly. If you want a little more, perhaps order a side of fruit salad?0

Egg white veggie omelet with bacon or sausage! Nothing wrong with fat. Or you could skip the bacon/sausage and opt for fruit salad.0
