About 90 days after i started i crushed my first goals.
And i tell you i am not done yet!
Start weight at 1 October 2014 : 260.2 pound waist 44 inch
Current weight 19 January 2015 : 199.6 pound waist 39 inch
Desired weight ........................ : 150 pound
First goals were:
*Get fit >> work in progress
*Lower blood pressure>> done
*Lower blood sugar levels to normal>>done
*Lower heart rate to normal>>done
*Lose 60 pounds>>done
*Walk/Jog 3 miles a day>>done
*Get a BMR out of the extremely obese range>>done
*Get a BMR out of the Obese range>>>almost there
Eating everything in my 1200 calorie allowance and i eat on top of that 1/4 of my exercise calories back. I cook from scratch every day. I add no sugar or salt to my foods (medical reasons).
I am careful with diary/grains/pasta/potatoes etc But eat them I dont believe in bad or good food. I eat everything!
But moderation and portion control is the key for me.
I weigh every solid food and measure every liquid.
I drink 2.5 liter of water, drink 1/2 cup of almond milk in the morning, 3 black coffee in the morning, and 1 or 2 tea in the afternoon.
I eat about 5 times a day.
3 main meals and 2 snacks.
I eat: Veggies, Fruit, Nuts, Spices and Herbs, Meat and Fish, some diary, some grain products, some pasta and potatoes.
All as fresh as possible. And yes if i want pizza or other junk food i will it As long it fits in my calorie allowance. But like i said moderation is the key for me.
I exercise
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 60 minutes of cardio.
Which is mostly walking (treadmill) and a little jog in the 60 minutes sometimes. 5 minutes or 10 sometimes even 20 minutes. I started in October and couldn't walk a half mile at 2mph and i was wet of sweat and out of breath.
Now i walk at least 4 miles on those days. Easily!
On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, i dance like nobody is watching me 30 minutes. Twisting my heart out!
On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday i do some light lifting for about 20 to 30 minutes.
*leg curls 20 kilos 50 times
*leg extensions 30 kilos 50 times
*rowing 30 kilos 150 times
*over head press 20 kilos 50 times
*10 squats.. no weights ...yet ( my back and knee dont really like it.)
So 6 times a week 90 minutes a day of exercise.
This is how it is working for me
Next goals:
*Get fitter
*Get out of the obese BMR range.
*Losing another 50 pound.
And i tell you i am not done yet!

And thank you again
And thanks for the attitude compliment..this because i think that is my strength I am a no-nonsense person. Don't flip out over fluctuations ( which i hardly have because i dont use salt)
And have my mind set on what i am doing, i work hard for it.
The pounds grew on me, so they can come off too.
Very simple
And i am not hungry what helps too of course and when i feel hungry i explain that as an appetite Not hunger and if i wait till it is my time to eat i wont die in the meantime.
I bent my stubborn attitude to do this and not moan.
I ate it so now i have to work it off. And i will!
I dont believe in special diets, pills or other magic and wonder solutions for weight loss.
So that makes it simple for me.
Don't get me wrong we all have to do it our own way and the way we feel comfortable with. But this is my way

I book marked your page so I can come back and help me get motivated. I know what I need to do but getting motivated to do it is my problem. I've been watching what I eat but have not started weighing everything. I guess that is probably one problem that I have not been losing the last couple weeks. I've stayed close to my calories but just started to the gym so I hope that will help.0
