Mango? Why can't you eat nanas?

Do you have an allergy? If that is the case, eat any other food that doesn't contain bananas.

I see a lot of people on social media suggesting nanas in there meals. I'm not allergic and just can't stomach them.

they do have alot of vitamins and potassium, etc. so they are nutritious, but if you can't eat them, then just don't. i don't really think there is a "replacement?"

There's a difference between can't and won't. Can't implies allergy. If you won't eat them, then just don't eat them. Why worry about a replacement? If you're worried about potassium, eat a white potato with the skin. Baked or roasted retains more nutrients than boiling.

If you are looking to replace potassium, try oranges.

IDK if you were talking about potassium or not, but there are a lot of good sources of potassium - potatoes, sweet potatoes, tomato juice/sauce, mushroom, squash (summer or winter), oranges, white beans, avocado, dried apricots, nuts and nut butters

But on social media often bananas are suggested for smoothies or faux ice cream and such things. In that case, maybe avocado or greek yogurt?

I'd start with something easy like rice crispy treats, but ice cream would be a solid option, too.

Heh, because of another thread I too want to say ice cream, but OP probably won't follow that.

OP, it really depends on WHY you want to eat the bananas. If for potassium, just eat potatoes or sweet potatoes, or plenty of other potassium-rich foods. If because you want easy fruit options, try apples or whatever else you like. If it's because you miss the taste, I dunno, mangoes might be a good option to try, although they taste quite different--I suspect if you like one you'd often like the other.

I like bananas and sometimes eat them regularly (but I don't eat them at all in the summer, since I prefer local fruit when in season), but they certainly aren't necessary.
