Keep in mind that potassium isn't required on food labels and thus it is missing on many entries in the database as most entries come from labels. So it is likely you are getting more than you think...it's pretty rare to actually be potassium deficient.
Just google high potassium foods. My favorites are potatoes/sweet potatoes, tomato sauces, low sodium V8, and coconut water. Also, eat your veg...leafy, green veggies.0 -
Bananas. http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/fruits-and-fruit-juices/1846/2
No-Salt 1/4 teaspoon contains twenty percent of your daily requirement.
But I echo what others have said. Nutrition labels are incomplete for potassium, and it is possible to overdo it.

So bananas are your favorite potassium rich food. I don't eat them much because of the sugar content but I would be willing to give them a try. Do you have any good, healthy banana recipes to share?0 -

I cook all my own food so I don't ever use the labels. Since you made a list of your favorite potassium foods, do you have any favorite, healthy recipes that use those ingredients?
Of course I have googled it. I am asking the MFP community for their favorite healthy recipes that are rich in potassium since this is a recipe sharing forum. If you are going to be condescending and not share a recipe, which is what I asked for, then byefelicia.0
