Macros

I don't track my macros, just calories and weight comes off just fine. I work out, eat a well balanced diet and use quick add calories everyday. I just don't see the point in obsessing over macros if what I'm doing works. I read some of these posts and it seems like tracking macros complicates things too much for some people which could lead to not sticking with it.
I know people have strong opinions on this and that's fine. I'm not interested in tracking them so please no lectures on to why I should.
Do any of you out there track calories only?

I used to only track calories eating healthy diet but my goals changed as doing Intermittent Fasting now and need to keep track of fast and protein daily.
As long you got a good source of protein and get good fats and come under your calorie for the day, then its fine.
If it works and it not broken why try to fix it.
In the other hand if you want to do fine tweaks to your nutrition, knowing your macros you are consuming doing help make things a lot easier when cooking meals.
Myself personally, like to know in advance what I am consuming and what is my expected results by following a specific nutrition plan. If I am not on course to hit my goal of body fat loss or lean mass gain, then I call just pull up information of past day, week, month and fine tune it.

I used to only track calories, and I lost some, but I seem to lose easier and I am less hungry when I track my macros. I think it has a lot to do with where you are in your weight loss journey. I found that my momentum was slowing down a lot when I was just tracking calories and I was starving. I am sure this varies person to person and has a lot to do with your activity level. If just tracking calories works for you, just do that. Just know that tracking macros might help if you find that you are super hungry all the time or if you plateau.
