Salmon Filets

I bought some frozen Walmart salmon filets, and the nutritional value given on the packaging is 100 calories per 4 ounces. However, on the USDA site, it shows a caloric value of 161 for the same 4 ounces. Which should I use and I wonder why the descrepancy?

I'd tend to go with the package labelling...USDA data tends to be fairly generic, and might include the skin (even tho, given that canned whole salmon runs about 150 calories per 4 oz, 161 seems on the high side, skin or no).0

I always use the higher value. The only side effect is you may lose more weight.0
