    100g of onions, chopped
100g of sweet potato peeled and chopped small
1 cup of peeled chopped small carrots
300g of peeled and chopped small parsnips
1 tsp of dried mixed herbs

Basically it all went in the slow cooker, I put enough water in to just cover it, gave it a stir then put it on to cook for high for 4/5 hours (I was out most of the day) Maybe you would find it better to do it the night before so it is ready from the beginning of the day.

I ladled the cooked soup into the blender and blitzed it, adding more of the soup liquid the thicker it got to a consistancey I was happy with then served it up with a good grinding of black pepper - depending on your personal preference and allowances you could have bread with it, grated cheese to make it a bigger meal but you know you can eat as much of the soup as you like knowing your getting the veg in you. I gave a grinding of black pepper to taste on mine, which came up as no nutritional values.

    Black and blue eggs
Mix together 3 eggs, 1 tsp of dried mixed herbs and 2oz of crumbled Blackstick blue cheese in a jug, pour into a pancake maker, cook on a medium heat, turn when you can see it starting to go firm at the sides and cook the other side a couple of minutes more (alternatively cook in a non stick frying pan and allow values for any oil you use), serve on a bed of 40g of baby spinach and season with black pepper. Made 3.
