I'm new to this today! It's amazing how much info is on here. A little about me: I'm 5' 2" + a little I weigh 117# and I'm 57 years old. People don't believe me when I tell them how old I am. I have severe fibromyalgia and I'm hypothyroid. However, both are being managed; Meds (for thyroid) and exercise for the fibro.
Within the last 9 months I dropped 2 clothing sizes. I wasn't actively trying to lose weight. But my thyroid Meds were reduced, and I weight loss was the result. I guess too much can hurt you just as not enough.
I don't eat properly, and discovered this app to help me become accountable for what I eat.
I haven't been exercising as much as I was a year ago, because I was very sick between May & Nov.
I need to tone and firm. My arms wave goodbye, when I'm done waving. I can wear fitted clothes, but I don't like the little bit of excess on the thighs and hips. My butt needs a lift.
Is there anyone else that is in a similiar situation that would like to share exercises and success stories? I cannot afford a personal trainer, or I would have one. I like using free weights (not machines), doing exercises on the bosu ball, zumba, and other general exercises like squats, etc.

Heh. I love your description of your arms! Welcome!
Look for "You are your own gym" and youtube Pilates videos as well.0 -

I'm 56 and 5'1.5". I do strength training, yoga, and some cardio. While I haven't lost a lot of weight like you have, I have a shoulder injury that's kept me from working upper body, so my arms are starting to get flabby. So I know where you're coming from. This picture is from when I weighed around 120 and looked pretty strong, but now I have a significant loss in muscle tone especially in my left arm and even some cellulite there! I am having a cortisone shot this week, but definitely want to get back on track with upper body work without reinjury.0
