I have a 2 yr old and work full time so the only time I can work out is during my lunch. Need a 30 minute workout to lose 20 lbs. Advice please.

Weight lifting is the best. Stronglifts 5X5 takes 45 minutes three days a week.0

I have been going to 9 round lately. It is a kickboxing place. You might want to see if they are near you. It is a 30 minute circuit and you can go in anytime, no class times.0

walk on your lunch break0

I would walk, jog, or ride a bike. If you have access to a gym then go use a rower or a treadmill or use an exercise bike and then some days do weights instead of cardio. If you eat at a deficit you'll also lose weight. I lost my first 45lbs counting calories only without any exercise at all.0

Weight loss comes from what you eat. Beyond that, I’d do strength training three times a week, do some light cardio on the other two or three. Maybe mix in a HIIT session from time to time.0

Any of Jillian Michael's workouts. 30 Day Shred Dvd will get you there.0

This doesn't mean that they are useless, though!
Good luck!

Weight loss will happen by changing what you eat, not by exercising during your lunch break. If you only have your lunch break, and a total of 30 minutes, I doubt there is much you can do other than just go for a power walk (which by the way is great exercise) or jog. Even if you do have access to a gym during these 30 minutes, you will need at least 5 minutes warm up, at least 5 minutes stretching, possibly also some time to change your clothes, which will leave something like 20 minutes for a work out. Walking at a good pace for 30 minutes will be simpler, safer and probably more effective too.0
