Daily protein intake

Hi guys! I'm 5'1" and around 120 lbs. I'm trying to lose 5-10 lbs while still retaining as much muscle mass as possible around my gluteus area. I'm doing high incline on the treadmill to work this area. How much protein should I be shooting for daily? I usually get about 55 grams.

    Assuming you get to 20% body fat at 110 lbs then you'll have 88 lbs of LBM. At 0.8 - 1.0 g protein per lb of LBM that equates to 70 to 88 grams per day. (Other ratios are available).

    So you might like to up it a bit.

    I always shoot for 1g/lb of body weight since math confuses me. So if you weigh 120lbs that's 120g.
