Big win for me... I guess?

preface: I don't have a scale at home. Changing that soon.

I recently saw a doctor (8 days ago) who weighed me in at 168 lbs. My heaviest ever. He was shocked, since my last weigh in at the doctor (different doctor, same health system) was 156 lbs in July. That's quite a jump in 6 months. I started MFP that day and have been clocking in under my calorie limit all week, and have been working out every day for the past month.

So I go back to the July doctor today, and she weight me in at 156.5!! So I guess I lost 12 lbs in a week? Or maybe doctor 1's scale is broken?

Either way, I guess its a win. I'm ordering my own scale on Amazon right now.... #lessonlearned

Yes I would just use the same scale and weigh about once a week or every two weeks. My husband had the same type of issue- he weighed at his gym and he was so happy that he was down 16 pounds (he hadn't weighed himself anywhere in a few weeks). So then a week later, same scale, it had him down another 9 pounds?!! So now he isn't trusting that scale and is only using the one at home.
