Weight lifting Question

Does weight lifting not count towards calorie burn? I logged my reps/sets and nothing showed up under excercise, it still says zero.

There is an entry under cardio for it. But it's a guess. Too many variables. Weight, tempo, muscles used, rest times, etc. Even when I used to use it, 45 minutes of lifting would get eclipsed by 10 minutes of cardio.0

I use a suspension trainer (similar to TRX) and I have found that you can log it as circuit training. I cut the calories in half because I think that they are on the high side for what I'm doing. So for a 45 minute session, I estimate about 300. My typical workout doesn't include much rest between exercises either. The only real way to know what you burn is to use a heart rate monitor.0
