Should I / how to combine running and boot camp?

I'm currently on week 8 of Couch to 5K, enjoying it lots and - touch wood - seeing good results from it. I plan to keep running three times a week from now on.

I've also joined a local 'boot camp' - an hour mixing up short runs, squat thrusts, tuck jumps, wall sits etc. Its different every week, exhausting but usually satisfying. I'm still VERY much a beginner at this. I go once a week at the moment, but can up it to twice for a small fee.

My goals are weight loss and general fitness, but I've decided I want to make running a regular part of my life.

I have a couple of questions I would be grateful for any advice on:

Is it wise to combine boot camp with running training?

If I run three times a week, how should I manage rest days AND boot camp?
