You gained because you ate more than your body needs to maintain it's weight.
Exercise won't cancel out a bad diet.
Weigh and measure everything you put in your mouth. Log it accurately. Stick to the calorie goal MFP gives you to lose an appropriate amount of weight, meaning don't make your goal to aggressive. Eat back 1/2 your exercise calories. You'll lose weight.0 -

do you really not know why you put on weight?
you ate too much and didn't move enough
it's a balance - log your calories and eat at a defecit and you'll lose0 -
If you cut out all your treats you may gain it back just as quick or cause yourself to start bingeing.
Just eat a well balanced diet within your calorie goal.
Add a treat everyday that fits within your goal.0 -

20+ pounds?
Why? Because you ate 70,000+ calories you didn't need.
That is the reason.
That is the ONLY reason.
Seventy ... thousand ...
Think about that with your next chip pretzel and icecream binge.-1 -

estimate your maintenance needs. Eat less than that. Which is exactly what the person said before, and you basically didn't listen to what you just quoted. Not snacking + no "junk" =/= automatic deficit.0 -
