Newbie here and confused over calorie allowance!

Hi, when fp worked out my profile, it says that if i work out 30 mins 3 times a week, i can eat 3580 calories a day.. to lose 2lbs a week, is this right? seems a hell of a lot to me!

That really doesn't sound right..even if you burned 500 calories per 30 minutes, for 1500 calories burned a week.. your consumed calories/net calories would still be way more than that..unless you are a rock climbing instructor for a living or something. Are you very active aside from working out? As far as walk a lot, active job, etc?
Edited: I suppose if you are starting with a lot to lose and depending on what you are currently eating, those would be factors I neglected..but still..0 -

just my weight, height, and that i don't do much exercise, i do have a huge amount to lose though, is there any way i can check what i put in my profile?0

If you go to My Home > Goals > change goals you can go through the process again.
Are you using pounds or kilograms? Your ticker says you have 192 kgs to lose.
Also keep in mind that MFP does not factor in the exercise even though it asks for a goal. It expects you to log it and eat those back, it is not in the number it gives you0 -
Maybe refresh and set your goals again and see if that changes anything?0

haha thanks everyone, it had me in at 290+ kilos!
changed it now and im allowed 1580 cals a day, now that seems more realistic lol, thanks for your help0
