recovery and percentages

Hiya some of u know im recovering from anorexia and I heard today the carb should be 50% protein 30% and fat 20% is this correct? I didnt hav a clue about this so just looked at mine and fitness pal has done it 50%carb 20% protein and 30% fat is this right for me as im trying to recover and gain?

    That plan is the fat shredder plan. If you are looking towards gaining weight I would add more carbs. I would go with the higher carb plan.

    There is no such thing as a "fat shredder plan" when pertaining to macros. Caloric intake determines fat gain or loss.

    OP - if you are recovering, I would recommend seeking professional help to assist in repairing your relationship with food. Macro ratio depends on your overall goals.

    But just in case you don't get to a nutritionist, generally we try to eat .8g of protein per lb of body weight, (for me at 127lb that's 127 x .8 which equals 101.6g) and importantly .35g of fat per pound of bw (127 x .35 is 44.45... I eat more than that though). Fill the rest in with carbs any carbs!

    You can customise your settings in the goals section.

    I'm assuming you are on a supervised recovery plan, with very high calories to recover? If not then you need to get on one before you encourage us to help you. We aren't trained and we can't help you, but we can tell you what we do to bulk.
