How much exercise?

Hi - I have approx 112lbs to lose and I aim to do it by a combination of calorie counting and exercise, but I'm really not sure of how much exercise is best for maximum impact?

I walk to work so I walk approx 3-4km a day and I've started doing 2 Zumba classes a week. I also plan to start doing some toning exercises too.

Is this amount about right to help me lose weight and get healthy? I don't want to lose it fast, slow and steady is my plan so it becomes a lifestyle rather than a diet.

Any advice is welcome!

Any exercise is going to help because it will increase your caloric deficit. It sounds like you are getting on the right track :)

Caloric deficit > exercise. You could even just walk everyday and be fine

I'd say you've got it figured out. Just keep up what you're doing and watch for results. When results come to a halt, then it's time to change things up. You have a great attitude and I wish you well!

Thanks everyone! I'm feeling better even after just a few weeks so it's good to know I'm on the right track :-)
