Maybe you could do a quick search on these ingredients???

If you have a Trader Joe's around, they sell the frozen mango or just buy it fresh.
No cardamom pods? just use ground which is available everywhere
No caster sugar? just use sugar
dessicated coconut--you can sub w/dried coconut which is available in your bakery aisle or just skip it.

The idea here is to be a little flexible and don't reject a recipe just 'cuz you don't know what the ingreds are right off the bat.

Whenever I add mangoes to my smoothies there's always some kind of pulp that I have to spit out whether I use fresh mangoes or frozen. Do you know what this is and how I could get rid of it?

Kind of rude? It's not that hard to do a quick google of ingredients that you're unsure of.

I am totally addicted to mango & peach smoothies right now. I love mango! So I'll be trying this at some point for sure :)

I've never had this problem myself w/the frozen mangoes. Can't comment on fresh ones tho b/c i usually just use frozen. Maybe you need to blend it a little longer than normal?

I find that they get stringy if they are over-ripe. But, I never have this problem with frozen. The frozen, store-bought is usually a bit under-ripe so I add sugar. Try changing brands?

I love mango too. I like Indian food as well. This is sort of like a Mango Lassi but partially frozen. I add the coconut for texture, but I think it adds a nice complimentary flavor.

Frozen Mango Chunks-cut the mango up and freeze it yourself.
The seeds from 2 cardamom pods-http://www.food.com/library/cardamom-319
2 Tbls caster sugar-Just superfine sugar. Right between granulated and powdered. Use granulated if you can't find it.
Unsweeted Dessicated Coconut-Just drier than dried coconut. Use dried coconut if you can't find it.

Try to be less rude. If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all. Other people actually like sharing recipes, even if you don't.

Many people who make thier own chai lattes might have cardamom around. I know that's what I first bought it for. But since then I have been branching out. It also goes well in Gingerbread.
