Question about entering exercise

So I have been entering my exercises using what is already in MFP system (running and kickboxing/turbo jam). My question is, am I really burning that many calories? I do not know how accurate it really is. I did turbo jam for 45 minutes and it said I had burned 955 calories. I ran for an hour and it said I burned over 1,000 calories. I do know that the amount of calories burned are proportionate to body weight and muscle mass of each individual so it will only be so accurate. Thanks!
