Help! Won't calculate calories for each exercise

why is it you can add an exercise under strength & go as far adding: sets, reps, weight
but it won't figure calories burned? Only way it seems to give U any credit towards weight training is if you log under cardiovascular. Just got done with leg day & surely I burnt more calories than on shoulder day. Help!!

I notice that too. I read online how many calories weights burn and it said it was hard to tell. Based on speed of lifting, etc. so I take it as calories burned that I won't eat and its a bonus.0
