Just starting back!

Good morning everyone! I'm back....after a very rough year last year including the death of my two year old grandson, I just didn't feel the want or need to exercise or eat right. It was a very devastating time for me and my family, but something about 2015 woke me up!

I am out to lose 20 pounds, and get this old body back into some kind of shape! I have my 50 year class reunion coming up in April and want to be the main attraction!! (Does that sound vain? lol) I've joined our local Planet Fitness with my husband and we go together three times a week, also bought a pressure cooker/crock pot that will ensure I cook all the right foods in the right way! So excited about that!!

Any suggestions, advice, questions, comments are more than welcome! Would like to become as involved as I can with My Fitness Pal and hopefully make some new friends as well.

    I am as well; was on the site about a year ago and just re-joined late last night. I was 250lbs last year; down to 213-218 (5lbs fluctuating).

    About 6 months ago, I started changing my diet and TRYING to be more active from time to time (*work 12-14 hour shifts in an IT office).

    HOPING this is the push I need to lose the remaining 40lbs.

    If you want, I'll send you the info on the morning smoothie breakfast(s) I've been doing that really seem to help me :smile:
