Im doing really well with my weight loss, and I don't want to reward myself with food. I was wondering what others do to reward themselves, nonfood related? I'm looking for some motivation! :)

Ditto! Shopping for new workout clothes is one of my favorite ways to reward myself. And a bonus - it makes me want to work out more! :)

Some other ideas: get a mani/pedi, get a message, get yourself something you've been wanting for a while, take an evening off from your responsibilities and binge on your favorite TV show or book... Do something that makes you feel good for working so hard!

Mani/pedi; new clothes; massage; take a bubble bath.

If you don't have the money for the clothes or the massage, you can give yourself the mani/pedi and the bubble bath. Hit up a consignment shop or Salvation Army/goodwill type place for clothes.

So does rewarding yourself with food.

How about a few moments where you give yourself a mental pat on the back or just allow yourself to feel really good about what you've accomplished so far?

Too often we criticize ourselves about the things we still need to improve but spend too little time dwelling on our accomplishments. I'm probably just still pumped from the PR I ran during Sunday's half marathon but I'm allowing myself to bask in it for a few days before I lace up my sneakers and hit the road again trying to improve on that time for the next race.

Clothes cost more than food!... But true, everything costs!

I like the Bubble bath idea, not very often I have time to do that, it's usually just showers for me!

Why can't doing well with your weight loss be reward itself?

My rewards are the physical ones - that I'm stronger and have more energy and I look better. When I reach my goal weight, I'm getting a tattoo though :)

What if, every day you log your food, you put a dollar in a jar. Then, when you hit whatever goal you have in mind, you take that money and buy yourself something - new earrings, nail polish, etc? A dollar a day isn't a huge cost and it'll give you something to look forward to.

I really like this idea and to be honest, I hadn't thought about doing anything like this!!

I would like to say that losing the weight is enough of a reward for me but its not, I guess I'm hard to please! :p

New clothes, facial, maybe stay in and read a book or write in a journal and enjoy the moment, if you cant afford its still really nice to be able to try on smaller clothes.
