different calorie totals

Hey everyone, this is probably a silly question but I was scanning some breaded chicken and on the packaging it said it was 270 calories, yet when I scanned it, MFP told me it was 340. Before anyone asks, the portions were definitely the same for both calorie amounts. Which should I go by?
