changing my mindset to change my life

HI ALL,

I'm a student with a mostly sedentary life. I'm 23 so I still have a pretty good metabolism, but I eat terribly. I'm hoping to start a healthier lifestyle to avoid health issues that I see a lot of my family going through. I have gained a little weight over the last few months from stress eating so any tips you all might have on how to change your mindset about food and portion control would be great!
