Yes, I'm a newbie! I started JM 30day shred yesterday, for beginners. Told ya I'm a newbie.
My legs and abs are so sore!! You are suppose to do it for 30 days, obviously. Shall I continue even though my legs feel like jello? I don't want to quit but not sure how these things work. Do I work through yesterdays pain to eliminate todays pain?

There are different opinions on it. If it's light soreness, i'd workout normally. If it's debilitating soreness, then just do a light workout, to keep the body moving. It should help with the soreness.

From your description, I'd recommend doing light versions of the 30DS exercises (not as intense, not as long) for today and tomorrow while the DOMS fades a bit -- a light workout will help with the soreness. Sunday you should feel like hitting it full-on again.

Just keep going. Any reasonable beginners program will start out light enough to account for the fact that you'll be pretty beat up from the DOMS for the first week or so.

Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness -- basically the soreness you have for a couple of days after a big change in exercise routine
