no more excuses

My name is amanda. I'm 28 with a 10 year old who keeps me running. At the beginning of this month I stepped on the scale and it read 197. This is the heaviest I have ever been. In the last few years I have made up many excuses for why I was gaining weight. When I saw the numbers on the scal and felt how tight my jeans were I made a choice. I needed to get healthy. My journey is just beginning but I'm expecting it to be difficult but I know ut will be worth it.

Update:I am currently weighing in at 162.6! I have lost 35 lbs and have 5 more to l ose before I reach my goal of 157! It has been tough and I have had so many falls. Every time I get back up and remind myself that tomorrow is another day. Recently I sprained my ankle running and my dr said absolutely no running for a whole week! Running has been something I have always hated! Recently I have been loving it and looking forward to it every day. Although I cannot run Im still allowed to walk my 2 miles. My journey continues.0
