Need help with friend requests

I can't figure out how to do a friend request. I did A search of previous posts and found one that says to go to the profile but I can't figure that out. Please help. Thanks.

In the messageboard posts, underneath the profile photo (or where a photo should be) is the member's name in a blue...click on the member's name and it will take you to their profile. You will see the add friend request it's fairly obvious.

Won't let me add anyone with iPhone. I click on there name and it doesn't do anything

@Lesley40 This method doesn't work in the iPhone app - you'll need to open Safari and navigate to the MFP forums that way, then it will. Alternatively go 'community' 'find members' and enter a username... This will also take you to their profile, where you can friend request them.

The issue is, the link under their avatar, next to their forum posts, IS BROKEN. This has been broken for a number of months, since the last major upgrades. You need to search on their user name on the find members page, then click through to their profile page where you can friend them.
