I don't get sore when I workout

I've been wondering about this for a while and wanted to get some thoughts.

Over the last few months, I've taken to trying barre workouts. I tried one brand that felt too easy/unchallenging before moving to another one that was more my speed without being too crazy hard. I'm also currently doing Couch to 5K (on Week 3).

I'm in a Facebook group for a fitness challenge I'm doing now with the streaming service I subscribe to, and I read how AMAZING the first barre brand was when I tried that. It seemed like everyone would talk about how sore they were the next day, had trouble walking, felt the "fire" and the exhaustion in their muscles and so forth. To be honest, I felt the impact of my workout while doing it (the shaking that is common in barre, my heart rate going up, etc.), but once my workout was done, that was it. I did not get crazy sore the next day and brag about it. I also don't feel particularly tired or worn out the day after my runs. I get side stitches while running, but again, I don't feel anything the next day. I still rest in between runs so I don't get fatigued, but don't get the talking point of how hard my workout was and how my body is on fire, etc.

Does anyone else not get sore after working out? I've heard that just because I'm not doesn't necessarily mean I'm working out wrong, but sometimes I wonder. The last time I felt sore after a workout was when I did BodyPump for the first time and when I pulled a muscle on the 30 Day Shred. Otherwise, it really has no effect on me, yet I've lost a little over 20 pounds so I imagine something is going right and maybe this isn't even worth talking about.

If you are seeing results, enjoy it! You might be hiding an Olympic athlete inside you somewhere. If you do get bored of an activity, feel free to change it up. But it seems you do this naturally already.

Some people hardly even get DOMS (the next-day soreness you refer to). Just thank your lucky stars you're one of them.

I lift. The only way I have DOMS is with a 20+ pound weight increase, or a lift I have not done before. I will feel my workouts, for sure, but about 30-60 minutes after I am done, I am good to go.
