new to myfittness pal--this year, anyway!

Hi everyone,
My name's meg. I am a married 35 year old musician, from Maine!
I am currently 234lbs. Would LOVE and NEED to loose at LEAST 100lbs
to be and feel healthier. it is such a huge and daunting goal, however tracking
my foods really helps me feel better, be held accountable, and feel accomplished!
can I loose 25lbs by my bday (march 24th?) of this year? I mean is it realistic?
it would be the most I've lost for a VERY long time. something had been blocking
me from trying and I figured it out the hard way from loosing my job this past week.
I think working in health care I am always too tired after helping everyone else,
(which I love) to really work on me! now I can. I am proud of myself--this is the MOST
in a row I have ever tracked my foods. oh yeah, I have some medical and mental issues
and am on some meds that make it harder for me to loose--any advice on that?
I have low thyroid and some other things. anyway, thanks for reading my novel :)
