fit but fat

I would say that over all, I am pretty happy with being overweight. How ever, i have noticed, that since going to college, i have lost some of my muscle mass and that isn't ok for me. for the most part that is the only reason why i am working out, however i will not complain should i loose my stomach over hang. I am currently 230ish depending on the time and the day. my goal is about 180. I would love to keep my body shape, and the muscles and i think that 180 is a pretty good place for me to be. i also would like to prove that even though i am over weight i am healthy, so that is my goal. i would like to be able to go up stairs without being winded, i would like to be able to bring my groceries into the house without struggling, and i would like to be able to run a mile without stopping because i can't keep going. i want to strengthen my abs and my lungs to help improve my ability to sing opera, and i also am fighting my depression, as well as hypothyroidism. i personally don't like taking medication, so i am seeing what i can do through exercise. over a year ago i was diagnosed with both illnesses, and i have been working out with my sister for about two weeks and i do notice a bit of a difference already. so all in all, i don't really care if i don't loose weight, because that is not my ultimate goal. i just want to be healthy. i would like other people who have maybe a similar health goal to help me along. i will support anyone who needs it. so thanks for reading this, if you want to be friends just message me, or comment here.
