Why isn't weight/strength training added into the amount of

Each day I do weight and cardio training and log it in here on myfittnesspal.com. I get disappointed. I do so much strenghth training and wonder why it isn't considered a calorie burner...

That section is only for your benefit to track/record your progress as far as reps and weights. Look under the list for cardio...and you will find stuff for weight training. calisthenics...or whatever.0

If you want your weight training to show calories burned, add a "Cardio Exercise" and select "Strength training (weight lifting, weight training)" and then the amount of time that you did your weight training.
Adding a "Strength Training Exercise" is mainly for tracking your progress as far as weight and reps.0 -
