Hi, I'm Shelly
Today's my first day on here and I am super excited to get some extra motivation.
5'5, Female, 25 years old.
My highest weight was 142 about a year and a half ago, since then, I've gone down to 128.5lbs, but my main goals are kicking that last little layer of fat and toning up! Goal weight of about 123. My lowest adult weight was 112 lbs, but birth control, being a new wife (with a husband who is in the military, which = gone a lot, which = I ate WAY too many potato skins for dinner) was a catalyst for a slow 20 pound weight gain over the course of 4 years, and while I have come a long way, I have been struggling with getting back to my goal weight. Yes, my goal is 11 lbs higher than my lowest, but at the time, I think I was far too gaunt in the face and, frankly, unhealthily obsessed with my weight.
I am hoping this community inspires me to keep honest about meeting my goal, but also allows me to do so in a healthy way- I do not need to be as skinny as I was in highschool, just toned and fit!
Feel free to friend me, I would love to hear more about your journeys.

Hi,
Welcome to MFP! You can reach your goals.
I like the saying "everything in life worth having, is worth fighting for." We need to fight for our happiness, because everyone deserves to feel and be happy.
I am Yvette and I am 24 yrs old. A friend request has been sent.
I have battled being obese all my life. Losing weight and gaining it right back. I started at 227lbs and my current weight is 164 lbs. I am striving to meet my goal and lose the last 14 lbs of my weight, but I know that I have to continue this lifestyle forever if I don't want to ever return to the old me. I am on here a lot to keep myself motivated and give support and encourgement. Lets encourage and help one another on this weightloss and fitness journey to a healthier us. The more friends the better.0
