I want a *gaget* of sorts. Something that will tell me how many calories I have burnt whilst running etc.
Is there a gaget you recommend that isn't too expensive? Thanks in advance

I guess you're looking for a heart rate monitor? I used to use a Polar FT2 - an older model HRM - which would tell me my average heart rate, which I could then use to get a rough estimate of how many calories I'd burned. Any "gadget" will only be able to give you a rough estimate, remember. My FT2 died a few months ago and I'm planning on replacing it with a FitBit Charge HR or Jawbone Up 3. I really liked the FT2 while I was using it, though.
