2 weeks of clean eating and increased activity results in an average 1000 daily calories deficit.
Including activity, this yields to an average of 1500 daily calories deficit.

Weight has been plummeting almost in line with the calculation. (2,8kg according to calculations, 2kg in real life)

But then your body noticed something's out of the ordinary and fights back to retain the weight. And the scale creeps up to a netto loss of 0.5kg

of course, it's all water weight, and it's still early, give it some time and your body will adjust accordingly.

But all in all, the number is still annoying. If I didn't to regular weigh-in, I wouldn't have noticed the trend.

Downward trends is what you need to keep in mind. Weight loss is not linear.
