true hunger

Until last Fall I was basically an eating machine, especially junk food. A lot of the time I told myself I was hungry or tired and wanted Coke to perk me up (never really did). I am now eating much less and I find that if I'm hungry between meals, just keeping busy makes the sensation go away. I am definitely ready for my meals, though! That feels good, like I"m on the right track.

Good for you. I eat more or less on a schedule, so while I get that "I should eat" feeling, I rarely feel truly hungry. If I feel peckish between meals, I drink water. It usually turns out that I was just thirsty after all.

    What's the question?

Does a post have to be a question?

I have had the same revelation as you, keziak! "Everybody" keep telling how hungry they are on their "diet"; I used to be much more hungry, and pathologically hungry, during (unwanted) weight gain. In fact, I'm just the right kind and amount of hungry, now.
