Hey guys,
looking for some tips^pointers as I start this journey.
I'm 22, 188cm tall and currently 60kg.
My first goal is too get too 70kg and have turned that into muscle. I've just started gym and I'm using this app to make sure I get my calorie intake.
Would be awesome for some inspiration from people that have done this bbefore. And what you did in your day to day life that made it easier.
cheers

1. set MFP to .5 pound or 1 pou nd per week gain. < most would recommend .5 if you are just going for ten pound gain.
2. realize that all of that ten pounds is not going to be muscle, you will gain fat too. Nothing you can do about that.
3. get on a structured lifting program with progressive overload built into it. If you are new to lifting I would suggest strong lifts or 5x5….make sure you learn proper form for the moves. Whatever program you go with make sure it has compound movements built into it.
4. ice cream, cookies, bagels, steak, rice, pasta, bread, etc are your friends.
5. repeat until you get desired results...0 -

1. 10 kg, not lbs.
2. That shouldn't bother you (OP), as you have barely any fat in your body at the moment.
Rippetoe has crafted Starting Strength just for people like you. He recommends drinking a gallon of whole milk per day in addition to your other food in order to put on the calories. Now, if your stomach can handle that, then sure, go for that.0
