So, remind me....weights then cardio?

I know I could do a search, but, I thought I'd just ask instead!

Is it best to do resistance first and follow it with cardio? I can't remember, but I'm starting CLX tomorrow and working it around my C25K runs. I was thinking I could do both M/W/F until my C25K runs increase.

Btw, I have done both workouts before, so am aware of the demands... I just can't remember which way round I did them!

Many thanks :-)

Yes, when I asked this question a week or so ago I was told weights first then cardio.

It really depends on what you're doing and what your goals are. My fitness goals revolve around strength gains, so lifting is my priority. I can't do cardio on lifting days at all....if I do them before my lift then I can't get my weights up...afterwards, I'm pretty much shot to **** as my lifts have completely exhausted my body.

I do cardio on non lifting days...for me it's pretty minimal because too much intensity interferes with my recovery.

If your goals are to run a 5K or half marathon or whatever then your focus is going to be more cardio oriented and your resistance training is going to be fairly minimal and will primarily be in support of those goals. It really depends on what you're set as fitness goals.
