Should I set exercise calories to 1

Hi can anyone help me. I use a fitbit to track my daily movements but I also do 3 classes per week and 1 swimming. I think the burn that MFP gives is an overestimation and I see some people set their burn to 1. Is this more accurate?

Just 1? No that is not more accurate.0

The people who set theirs to 1 likely use TDEE in which case workouts are already factored in.
I generally override the estimate to 50-75% to account for inaccuracy.0 -
Only if you exercise for a very tiny amount of time.0

It's this.
People that enter 1 calorie exercise burns are using the TDEE method because their exercise is already figured into their daily calorie allotment. To add the exercise calories would essentially be double logging.0 -

This seems like a good idea!0 -

It's an Insanity, Powerbags and a Kettlebells class :-)

People who record their exercise as 1 calorie are using the TDEE method. If you use MFP, just eat back 75%.0

This!
I enter 1 calorie per exercise because I have already calculated my burn for the entire week, on average and taken a deficit off of that. TDEE allows you to find an average calorie allotment so you're not guessing everyday how much you are going to burn - it is especially helpful with meal planning and thus grocery shopping - at least for me!0 -
Thanks everyone :-)0
