I throw this question to everybody, and there is a reason, but I need some answers before.

How many calories, below your daily maintenance, are you eating every day? And if possible, how much weight have you lost since you started.

    Thank you.

Are you ready to tell us your reason???

    Excellent question!

    Obviously I've missed something here....

Only meant to say I too am waiting to hear the real reason for the question.

Based on historical data and trends i can almost guarantee that he is trying to disprove CICO. I could be wrong but i am about 90% certain. In to see if i can predict the future!

I'm eating 300-500 below maintenance each day. I've lost 69 pound in 9 months.

I'm assuming by maintenance he/she means what we need to maintain our *current* weight and not where we'll be when we hit our goal weight. Right?

I just decided to take a quasi-break from dieting by eating 2200 cals. Which is ~200-250 below my maintenance, also around my hypothetical maintenance for my goal weight (145). I set it up to that because I realized I need a break from weigh-ins because I've been getting so focused on the numbers... although I didn't reach desired body comp, when I lost weight in 2009 I did it without weighing myself all that much (I think I only weighed in when I first started and when I went to go buy new wardrobes?) and lost without getting so caught up in a numbers game. My lifts have also been poop so I'm hoping this helps. Lost 26lbs eating between 1800-2250 calories and occasional maintenance (2400-2500) breaks. I've jumped around a lot LOL.

Have to agree with the above^^^ Pretty sure there is an agenda here.

    I know he also claims:

Carbs are not important during a bulk.
We "aren't carbs", whatever that means.
The organs in our bodies prefer or only use fat, that is why we convert the carbs into fat, because we don't need many.
    Glucose is toxic
    Some people are carb burners

Well, luckily my loss matches up with my schedule, and clearly CICO is alive and well with me!
