Hi all, just signed up for today. Definitely not new to losing weight, or the battle to try to lose weight. At my heaviest I've weight about 250 and have lost 30lbs over the last few years. Until recently I have been trapped at 220.
Found a new boyfriend who just so happens to be an ex-body builder and is a personal trainer, and with begging, I got him to consent to help me out. (He told me being my personal trainer doesn't lend to a loving relationship, I had to BEG him to help lol) Since I rarely eat over 900 calories a day due to being busy, forgetting to eat, and having NO appetite..he has gotten me on a goal of 2000cals a day. I have yet to reach that goal in the last 2 weeks. Goal is to get my body out of starvation mode. However, eating more has been a huge benefit to me and I finally made it to 219 from 224. A few more weeks of this and then I'm off to join the gym and start weight training. I currently try to walk with my dogs several times a week, weather permitting (Love the Oregon liquid sunshine), typical walks are from 2-6 miles or at least an hour or hour and a half. Tired of being short and round...I'd like to be short and super curvy. I am so excited that I've finally found a sweet guy and one who happens to have the skills and knowledge I need, not to mention the support and encouragement he doles out to me everyday.
I joined up here for the calorie counter, and am excited that it looks like its a great community of people as well!!! I know my friends are gonna get sick of me bug'n about how much food I'm eating and what kind of exercise I'm up to. I'm excited to get to know you all and hopefully make some new friends who have similar goals!!
