Would rather eat real pancakes instead of that crap. Tastes like cardboard ... for a minuscule 7g of protein.... no thanks.

Same as ManBake products. They are CRAP. Their cookie butter in no way shape or form tastes, or resembles "cookie butter". It's all crushed up almonds and oil named cookie butter.

I like them. I don't really care about the protein, but the ingredients are decent and I like the way they taste.

I just tried some. I liked them. Had a bit of a cornmeal cake texture, which is a plus to me. Got a bit of whole grain-y taste, but it reminded me more of plain cornmeal and non sweetened granola, and not a lot like whole wheat, which is fortunate. I really am not a fan of anything that tastes like whole wheat.

They are not nearly as good as homemade buttermilk or ricotta pancakes, but they're better than ones made with buttermilk pancake mix, IMO, and just as easy to make. Mix + water.

I've been eating the power cakes - the ones with 190 calories and 14g of protein - and I was very pleasantly surprised! Just mixed it with water... Made two big pancakes (using one serving and not two like the box says) and it was plenty to satisfy my craving. I had some yesterday actually (with nutella on top). No, they're not as good (or fluffy) as homemade buttermilk pancakes, but half the calories (at least) and more than twice the protein, so totally worth it.

I'll be getting another box next time I go to Target.

I get the power cakes (14g of protein) and add a little baking powder+milk. Fantastic
  • Agreed.. I like them a lot.. Especially since I can include it in my current diet and not as a cheat day. Adams peanut butter and homemade jam on top.

  • I need to give those ones a try.
