Recipes & Meal Planning
I was just diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes & I am having trouble with meal planning and what to eat. Sometimes I can go all day & not feel hungry and skip meals which I know is not a good thing to do when you have diabetes. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My husband is an insulin dependant diabetic on 7 injections per day. He works full time in a very demanding physical role. I prepare all meals working on 60 grams carbohydrates. I aim to have all low GI food such as whole grains. He has low fat muffins, whole grain breads/ wraps etc. Always looking at high protein. We basically eat the same but I have about 1/4 of what he eats. We both have lots of veges so try to have the plate with 1/2 veges. 1/3 protein/ 1/3 carb. My plate holds a cup full only!!0
