So far today, having logged everything I am 635 calories under my calorie goal, but to successfully lose weight, is it important to reach my may daily calorie intake?
Please help

    That is a lot to be under, but with zero other information given it is hard to say much more. If you're following MFP the way it is intended you would lose weight eating at your calorie goal.

    It depends. If your calorie target is, say, 2400 calories, eating under that on occasion isn't a problem. If your target is 1200 calories, being 635 under is a big deal. Generally, you should try to get as close as you can to your goal every day, especially in the beginning while you're waiting to see how your body reacts.

    100 or 200 calories isn't bad if you have eaten at least 1200. I have left big deficits in the past only to be starving the next day or two and wind up eating everything in sight.

    It's not crucial, but if you have a reasonably large deficit you should try to come close to your goal.

    To clarify: If you under eat you will lose weight, but you may be nutritionally deficient, lethargic, and excessively hungry which could make it hard to be compliant to your budget in the longer term.
